Mission School, Classroom & Teachers’ Housing Appeal
Over eight years ago, Operation Life started a small primary school in a remote village in Papua New Guinea. The initial school was a thatch-roof classroom and started with 25 students. Since then, the school has continued to grow as a primary school with an additional class rooms being added each year. Below you can see the original school school building along with new classrooms being built as needed.

The school now has over 300 children and, within three years, will be a complete primary school. We are now at a critical point where we need to build two additional classrooms and at least two staff houses in order to attract qualified teachers and their families to such a remote area. Currently our teachers have no housing, other than what is available in the remote village.
The school has become an integral part of the community, engaging regularly in church life and proudly running its own Pathfinder club.
From next year, the school will partner with the Adventist church to use Adventist school-trained staff.
